The only option that comes to mind right now is soy yogurt. I drink almond milk as well Sometimes it is better. I am lactose intolerant, so always look for dairy that is lactose free. This is easier to do with cheese, especially appreciate the cheeses made by Cabot, almost all if not all are marked lactose free.
Kraft shredded Mozzarella is also lactose free. I followed the diet with some protein as suggested. It is really like magic! Give a try on this, this diet plan clearly works. Is this good for someone who wants to lose more than pounds?
I would like to try this, but it seems like I would be eating more calories. I will try this when my nutrisystem ends though. Depending upon your age and how much you have to lose, it may actually be beneficial to start out eating what seems like more, I would try the suggested amounts, and depending upon how things go for a week, adjust accordingly.

Some prepackaged meals that you buy in the supermarket or online are better than what I was eating when on NutriSystem. Personally, I can no longer eat their foods because there are too many things in them that I am sensitive too now I also am not thrilled with how much sodium is in prepared foods.
Perhaps one day changes will be made to accommodat e those of us who have food sensitivities. If this were to happen I may try their program ag ain. The most important aspect of any weight loss program is having an organized plan to follow, so I am attempting to put one together here, for myself and anyone else that might be interested.
If you would like to use the NutriSystem Meal Planner to record your meals, they are often available here. You have to scan through the list of items to find them , but it's easy to do.
There are planners for women and men, and occasionally different prog rams, like the Silver program that was available when I joined, but these result in only minor changes in the planners.
What is available at any given time may vary. You can also use what I have provided below as a guide. You should have enough information right here to know how much you should eat at each meal, and between meals. Buy food to supplement 2 of their meals and one snack every day. Oh and supply the food for 2 flex meals each week. You will save a good amount of money. Pus the food will taste better. I still think Nutrisystem is fairly priced, and is an excellent resource for people looking to lose weight quickly. You will get results when following their plan, which is why it can be a great option for a lot of people who have a significant amount of weight to lose.
For me, it has been a good way to reset after weight gain, and then I can go back to focusing on eating healthy and preparing meals on my own, sort of like you plan to do.

I think 5 to 10 pounds is totally doable, especially if you commit to the full 2 months! Remember, Nutrisystem does offer counselors to help keep you on track, and as long as you stick to the program, you should see a significant amount of weight loss during that time period! Mostly fish and vegetables. Sometimes chicken or turkey but not all the time! Is there a plan to start me on this regiment? Can you send some ideas and pricing plans? I tried turbo shakes with other companies and they gave me lots of gas…lol Thanks if this gets to you.
Hi Jim — sorry, I missed this comment at the time you posted it. I would also recommend looking at BistroMD https: Diet-to-Go has some really good plans that sound like they could work for you. Both are going to be a bit more pricey than Nutrisystem, but sound like they could be a better fit. My husband and I are considering NS. We also do not want to purchase ANY other food if possible.
Hi Lynn — I replied to Ray with a couple of other options BistroMD and Diet-to-Go …I would recommend checking out those reviews if you think they may be something that would work for you and your husband. There are definitely some ways to keep the costs down though. You will definitely want to incorporate fresh produce, though, as I think you would get tired of only eating their pre-made meals, and you will want to mix in a salad or something on most days just to get the health benefits from the fresh produce if nothing else.
Hi Pete — the frozen food is an additional charge, but can be included in your 4-week order or as an ala carte item. Many are on a fixed income and I am one of them … an older woman, a widow, and on a very fixed income. With the profit your company surely must realize, might you consider offering your program free to a few deserving people men and women who would benefit from it as well?
Just something you might consider … it just might be of benefit to your company in another way … good will! The Costco purchased gift cards can definitely be used and there is a space at checkout to put them in.
You will just have to make sure you put the gift card in a few days before the processing date for additional deliveries. I just went through this whole process and received my order today. Thanks for the very thorough cost information. Helped make my decision a lot easier.
I agree, too, the frozen meals are definitely a nice bonus — especially the desserts! There are some costs with buying your own fruits or vegetables to consider too, but overall it seems fairly affordable.

I have always found it to be very easy to opt out. As long as you stay on the program for at least two months, you should be able to cancel without paying any type of penalty if you need to cancel after month 1 I mention one way to avoid the penalty in the review above , and customer service has always been very easy to deal with when I have needed to call them.

I have limited freezer space and feel that the frozen foods would be the way for me to start and continue a controlled size appropriate diet. Does anyone offer three or four shipments monthly?
